Chapter 16. Future of E-services and Web Services at HP

Hewlett Packard (HP) is a pioneer in Internet- and intranet-based services. HP began work on e-Speak, one of the first products focused on e-services and web services, in HP labs in the spring of 1995. The visionary approach to Chapter Two of the Internet forced HP to answer some of the interesting questions of a service-based economy on its own. HP subsequently released a few versions of e-Speak, culminating in the supported version: e-Speak A.3.11.
