Chapter 27. Extended links (XLink)

This chapter covers the extensive linking capabilities provided by the XLink standard (released June 2001), which greatly improves upon the limited support for linking provided by the XML standard (as described in Chapter 7). XLink applications are required to be able to interpret XBase (see Chapter 11) and relative URL base instructions.
