Synopsis
If more than nine Word documents are open at the same time, Word displays only the first nine (in alphabetical order) on the Window menu. In order to switch to any of the documents that are not displayed, select Window → More Windows to open the Activate dialog shown in Figure 11-4. Select any document to switch to that document.

Use the Taskbar to Switch Between Documents
A much easier way of switching between documents in Word 2000 is simply to click the taskbar buttons that represent the documents. If the button labels are too small to read, hover the pointer over a button for a moment to display a pop-up tip. You might also want to increase the size of your taskbar.
