Using and Personalizing Internet Explorer

The basics of a web browser aren’t difficult to understand. Point. Click. Search. Print. Save. If you’ve made it this far, we can safely assume you know your way around a browser window, and in this chapter we focus on what’s new in Internet Explorer 7. Figure 8-2 shows a typical browser window, with some useful elements highlighted.

Internet Explorer hides the menu bar by default (but you can press the Alt key to make it visible) and scoots commonly used functions into the compact Command bar.
