Windows Mobility Center

If you have a mobile computer running Windows 8, you’ll find that Windows provides a tool called Windows Mobility Center, a special control panel that desktop computers don’t have. To open the Mobility Center, shown in Figure 37.1, use one of these methods:

• Type Windows Logo+X and select Mobility Center.

• If your computer has a mouse or trackpad, right-click the very bottom-left corner of the screen and select Mobility Center.

• Go to the Start screen, and if you don’t have a keyboard, open the Search charm. Type in mobil, select Settings at the right, and then select Windows Mobility Center.

• Open the charms and select Settings, Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Windows Mobility Center.
