Managing Windows has always been somewhat of a challenge because it’s complex, and it’s not something most of us do every day. When the management tools are switched around, then, it can be pretty taxing. Have no fear: there is not a whole lot that is new in the way that you manage Windows 8. New, straightforward Windows 8–style panels let you mange new Windows 8–style features, but they’ve usurped little that was familiar from previous versions of Windows. (The significant exception is a new way to set up user accounts.)
