Filtered B&W

Filtered B&W is a controlled color to black-and-white conversion. Rather than perform an exact conversion (as is done when applying the B&W effect; see page 82), Filtered B&W is accomplished by simulating the use of a color filter with black-and-white film. The resulting image depends on the colors in the original photo and the color filter selected.

.Open the picture for editing, click the Effects tab, and click Filtered B&W. In the Filtered B&W panel, click in the Pick Color box to set the shade of the initial color filter.
