Deploying Applications to Microsoft Azure
Deploying to Microsoft Azure involves the Web Deploy option and requires the same steps shown for publishing an ASP.NET application to other hosts, as you saw in Chapter 34. Visual Studio 2015 dramatically simplifies the deployment process by supplying all the required information automatically. To understand how it works, in Solution Explorer right-click Publish to open the Publish Web dialog. In this dialog, you should see that the Web Deploy option is enabled and all the connection information has been automatically added by the IDE (see Figure 35.13). You do not need to make any changes.
