Searching for Installed Templates

Visual Studio 2015 provides lots of default project templates, and as you saw earlier, you can add your own custom ones, too. When you have a lot of available templates, finding the necessary one at a certain moment can be difficult. Therefore, the New Project window provides a search box, in the upper-right corner (see Figure 2.7). Just begin typing the name of the project template you are looking for, and the New Project window shows all the project templates that match. Each time you type a character, the window updates to show results that more closely match your search string. For example, in Figure 2.7, Visual Studio shows all the project templates whose names match the search string excel.
