Project 9B: A Little More Hands-On Java Experience: Schnapsen

Ever since I moved over to the world of Linux, I have been continually bellyaching about the fact that there was no Linux version of my favorite game, the Austrian card game Schnapsen. Eventually, I got Schnapsen to work under Wine (which you'll learn about in the next project), but now I've found something easier to deal with—a Java version of Schnapsen (Figure 9-3). If you would like a little bit more hands-on experience with Java and wouldn't mind learning about a pretty cool card came, just follow along with the instructions here.
