View/Edit Query

The View/Edit Query panel shows the current SQL being used to populate the data grid (see Figure 5.8). You can make changes to this SQL and use the check button to make sure your changes are syntactically correct. When you click OK, the data panel will be refreshed via the new SQL. This panel also shows any filters or sorts being applied as well.

Tip

The author has copied and pasted the SQL in this panel for use in other areas of Toad and Oracle applications.
