Filter/Sort the Table Data

The Filter/Sort the Table Data option enables the data to be filtered (where clause) and/or put into a particular order (order by clause for one or more columns). Figure 5.5 shows a filter being added—be sure to click the Add to Filter (And) button shown with the cursor. Figure 5.6 shows a sort being added. Use the center arrows to move the selected columns for sorting to the right-hand side. The up/down arrows in the right side enable you to change the order of the sort columns. Notice the funnel icon in Figure 5.7; when a filter is being applied, the funnel appears red, and when a sort is being applied, a blue triangle appears above the funnel.
