Sharing Applications

Sharing tools help teams collaborate with a variety of content, beyond just chat or video, exchanging information and ideas in a way that many people can see and instantly participate in. Sharing applications range from simple scheduling tools to commenting platforms to sophisticated corporate presentation and collaboration tools, even a new category called social business software. Sharing helps viewers absorb information better, because they’re participating in a discussion as if they were actually there—they see and hear material, can ask questions or discuss it, and can use social networks to comment and invite others to join the discussion. Sharing also can have a huge impact on corporate travel costs; running a webinar on one of these platforms can eliminate the need for travel for hundreds of people.
