Part Two provided an analysis of Chairman Lee Kun-Hee’s leadership and Samsung’s corporate governance structure and management systems. Part Three examined Samsung’s core competencies, including speed, synergy through convergence, and evolutionary innovation, and explained how these arose out of its management systems. Part Three also identified the culture, infrastructure, and mechanisms that underlie Samsung’s core competencies, and explained how they gave Samsung a competitive advantage.
