Image Processor

The beauty of the Image Processor script is its simplicity. The Image Processor converts a folder of images into one or more different file formats, and it can scale the images at the same time. It doesn’t have a lot of options—nor does it need to. To use it:

1. Choose > File > Scripts > Image Processor.

2. Select the folder of images you want to convert. (You can also process the open images or access this command from Bridge—more on that later.)

3. Set the destination folder. If you use the Save in Same Location option, Photoshop will automatically create a new folder inside your current folder and put the results of Image Processor into that folder (Figure 3.1).
