Once the coachee has been guided through the DROPS sequence and selected the best solution, they may need further coaching, as James did in our first example. Use the COACH tool (Chapter 1) to help them with the next stage. You will also want to find out what happens next and to review the solution using the GOLD model (Chapter 2). The solution may have resulted in an objective, in which case you may need to help them tighten it up using the STORM goal-setting tool and to start putting together an action plan (Chapter 3).
