Alignment between Change Communication Competence and Change Communication Expectations

The first two phases in Figure 11.1 suggest that those charged with facilitating the change communication have control over the process. The third phase considers that default theories-in-use (best practices) are not so useful when applied to the workforce. Really good change communication ensures that there is an alignment between the communicative expectations of the employees and the competencies of those delivering the change communication.
