An overarching theme of this book is that like it or not, we (society, not only the coauthors) are rushing headlong embedding social and commercial processes into electronic settings. However, without careful thought, such systems have vulnerabilities that threaten these processes. Furthermore, even with careful thought, they often still have vulnerabilities.

In this chapter, we move beyond the top of the technology stack and into the human world the technology serves. In particular, we focus on three items most of us wish we had more of.
