Chapter 10. Profiles and Performance

This chapter provides additional information about the profiles supported by your Cg compiler and offers advice on how to write high-performance Cg programs. This chapter has the following two sections:

  • Profile Descriptions describes the capabilities and limitations of the OpenGL and Direct3D profiles supported by Cg.

  • Performance gives practical advice about improving the performance of your Cg programs.
