TRIP REPORT

A trip report is usually a simple memo that is sent to a supervisor after an employee returns from a business trip.

A trip report should include (Figure 93):

image The purpose of the trip

image A summary of what happened on the trip

image A discussion of any information learned on the trip that needs to be considered, such as customer needs or complaints

Recommendations for any action that needs to be taken
