87. Communicate Confidence, Conviction, and Enthusiasm
Followers believe leaders who believe in themselves and their direction. Exceptional leaders communicate with confi dence, conviction, and enthusiasm to inspire others. People sense when someone seems committed. Some people can fake this commitment, but most of us are not very good actors. The best leaders believe their leadership direction will create the results they say it will. Their heart tells them that their course of action will benefit followers. They uplift others to recognize and accept those benefits.
