Buy Numbers and Stay Up to Date
Apple introduced Numbers as a stand-alone app starting with Numbers 3; Numbers 2 was part of Apple’s iWorks ’09 suite. If you have Numbers 2, downloading Numbers 3 (its official name is simply “Numbers”) or later won’t purge it from your computer. The ’09 version stays neatly tucked, with its brethren, inside the iWorks ’09 folder in your Applications folder.
