Prestaged Media
The two actual changes in prestaged media are subtle but greatly improve the overall process and experience. Both directly relate to the content referenced in and used by the task sequence when using prestaged media, and are discussed in the next sections.
Content Staging
The first change enables you to choose content directly to include in the resulting WIM. This allows the content to be prestaged onto the target systems by the OEM, in addition to the operating system image. The Create Task Sequence Media Wizard (shown in Figure 6.25) adds three pages where you can select this additional content for inclusion (each page is named for the content type added by it):
