Software Inventory
Traditional software inventory is not supported with the cross-platform agent as it is with the Windows-based agent. You cannot launch Resource Explorer and go to the Software section to see a list of the installed software. Software inventory for cross-platform clients is found in the Installed Applications section of hardware inventory within the Resource Explorer. The inventory (displayed in Figure 5.18) shows a list with the display name, product ID, install date, and version.
