Refreshing Content on Distribution Points

In ConfigMgr 2007, you may have used refresh distribution points occasionally to ensure the package source share has the correct content (often because of hash mismatch errors). In ConfigMgr 2012, you should not need to refresh content often, unless you receive a status message error about a hash value check failure; see the “Validating Content” section. If this is necessary, simply view the properties of the package, select the Content Locations tab, highlight the wanted distribution point, and click Redistribute.
