Controlling the Web Browser with Lingo

Macromedia Director movies can communicate with files on Internet servers in a similar way that Web browsers do. You can request text documents, send small or large pieces of information, or even command the user’s default browser to go to Web pages.

The primary command for forcing the Web browser to go to another Web page is gotoNetPage:

     gotoNetPage("http://garyrosenzweig.com/books/")
