Selecting Cells
After data entry, selecting worksheet content is probably the task most frequently performed in Excel. Selecting cells and ranges tells Excel where you are and what parts of a sheet you intend to change, and is an integral step in most formatting, calculation, and editing procedures. To select an individual cell, click it or use any of the keyboard shortcuts shown in Table 2.1 for worksheet navigation to move to the desired cell.
