Configure Service Application Connections

The Service Application Connections settings, shown in Figure 2.11, allow you to associate your new web application to existing service applications. In other words, this web application can call into and consume these services, such as Search. Service applications are covered in Chapter 4, “Creating Service Applications.”

To set up service application connections, follow these steps:
