Upgrade Roadmap Steps

SAP has simplified the upgrade user interface and has divided the processes into several roadmap steps. The following illustration shows the eight roadmap steps the upgrade process executes.

When the Upgrade GUI is started, it will display the initialization step; by providing the requested information on the screen and clicking Next, you can proceed with the subsequent steps. Table 25-3 gives a brief overview of the eight roadmap steps.
