Some of the other debug features that can assist with driver (and operating system) development are:

  • Target Control
  • CeDebugX
  • eXDI

Target Control

Target Control is a service that is interacted with via a command shell. In Platform Builder, this is via Target Menu/Target Control. On the device at a command shell, you can also enter Target Control commands, which are summarized in Table 34-4.

gi Gets information on processes or processes with threads; modules; critical sections that have threads waiting; and events

zo Performs debugging zone operations
