HOW BRIGHT IS THE FUTURE OF OD?
The respondents were optimistic about the future of OD, and 88 percent rated the future as very bright or somewhat bright. Exhibit 41.2 lists many reasons for the optimism. Topping the list is “OD is spreading worldwide, with growing numbers of practitioners, conferences, and contributors to OD literature coming from all parts of the globe.”
It is, however, noteworthy that only 53 percent of the respondents rated the future very bright and that 12 percent rated the future not very bright or definitely not very bright.
