Derivative Modeling and Other Techniques to Speed Up Your Poly-Modeling Work Flow

In Chapter 5, we are going to see how we can derive other elements of our models from existing mesh. We are going to generate new models by detaching elements and altering existing models. Many times in production you will need to model variations of a certain type of object or have several options to show a client; when applicable this technique will help you get things done quickly.
