HSV Event Errors and Codes
The HSV event log is a text file, and as mentioned earlier in the chapter, is very difficult to read. Figure 6-6 is a sample of this file. You can see it is not in a format that is easily readable. Fortunately, Oracle provides two tools to help you read and identify the errors: the Financial Management Error Look up tool and the Financial Management Error Log Reader.

The first tool is the HFMErrorLookup.EXE file. When you run this on the server, you can quickly see the HSV event log in a clear, readable format.
