Copy Scenarios

Often, people want to have a copy of data in one scenario in another. This can be for several reasons, for example, building forecast data, constant currency analysis, or pro forma reporting. This is something we can do very simply in HFM.

In certain circumstances data could be copied between scenarios. For example, Actual periods will be copied into the Forecast scenarios once those periods are closed. Or Actual data could also be copied into scenarios; different rates where they will be translated at a constant rate to allow for comparison across scenarios without the impact of exchange rate changes being a factor.
