Touching Up a Photo

Some photographs may look perfect except for a few minor blemishes, such as red-eye caused by the camera’s flash or a pimple on a person’s nose. To erase these types of problems, do the following:

  1. In iPhoto, click a picture you want to touch up, and click the Edit button at the bottom of the iPhoto window to display editing tools (see Figure 36-1).

  2. Click the Enhance button. The iPhoto program tries to enhance the colors in your image automatically by making them appear brighter and sharper.

  3. Click the Fix Red-Eye button. Various red-eye removal tools appear and the mouse pointer turns into a circle, as shown in Figure 36-4. Drag the slider to adjust its size.
