Restricting Content

In addition to blocking access to certain features, your iPhone can also block access to certain content with ratings, such as movies, TV shows, or music. Just remember that your iPhone can only block content that comes from the iTunes Store. If you download content from another source, it probably won't be tagged with a rating or label, so your iPhone won't know to block it.

To block access to certain content, do this:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings. The Settings screen appears.

  2. Tap General. The General screen appears.

  3. Tap Restrictions. An Enter Passcode screen appears.

  4. Type your four-digit passcode. The Restrictions screen appears.

  5. Scroll down to see the Allowed Content section, as shown in Figure 47-3.
