Turning On Your iPhone

When your iPhone is off, you can turn it on by following these steps:

  1. Press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button at the top of your iPhone, as shown in Figure 1-1 until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

    The Sleep/Wake button is located on the upper-right corner of the iPhone.

    Note

    If you see a blank screen after pressing the Sleep/Wake button, your iPhone doesn't have enough power to turn on.

  2. Wait a few seconds until the Home screen appears, as shown in Figure 1-2. This tells you that your iPhone is now on.
