Part IV explores the frontiers beyond mere words, boldly venturing into the world of tables, pictures, headers, footers, objects, fields, and other document components that take advantage of Word's many capabilities. Chapter 17 explores the intricacies and nuances of tables. Chapter 18 deals with pictures and Word 2007's new SmartArt feature. Chapter 19 takes you beyond the normal parts of the page, looking at headers and footers, and the variety of other kinds of things that can reside there. Chapter 20 shows you how to insert symbols and equations, the latter using Word's new equation editor. Chapters 21 and 22 explore the many uses of Word fields and creating flexible text using WordArt, respectively. Finally, Chapter 23 draws from the old and new, showing how to insert charts using Word's legacy chart application as well as Office 2007's new Excel-based charts.
