Part II focuses on the baseline skills that every Word user needs and uses—regardless of why you use Word. This section covers the basics thoroughly but doesn't spend a lot of time belaboring things that are already obvious. Beyond that and more important, Part II is heavy on tips, pitfalls, and shortcuts. It also continues the drumbeat of leverage—namely, using document styles to save you time and work.
