DPM Management Shell

The DPM Management Shell is a command-line management interface for Data Protection Manager. This management shell is built using Windows PowerShell, which is a .NET Framework–based, object-oriented, command-line shell and associated scripting language. Using the DPM Management Shell, you have access to DPM-related commands, also known as cmdlets, which can be used as an alternative interface to the DPM Administrator Console to perform data protection management tasks, as shown in Figure 10.11.
