Working with the Top-level Navigation in v4.master

The top-level navigation in the v4.master page is derived from the <SharePoint:AspMenu> control (see Figure 17.112) and uses the SPNavigationProvider for the SiteMapProvider.

The <SharePoint:AspMenu> control exposes a number of properties, which you can modify in the master page in SharePoint Designer. Key properties include the following:
