Document IDs and [if gte mso 9] Tags in New ASPX Pages

If the Document ID Feature is activated on the current SharePoint Server 2010 site collection then, by default, all new documents added to libraries throughout the site collection are assigned a unique ID. This includes new pages created in the Site Pages (or other Wiki page) library in SharePoint Designer. However, when you create a new ASPX page without a master page attached, you’ll notice some additional code shown in code view, as shown in the following code and in Figure 13.42.
