Chapter 28. PowerPoint and the Web

Using PowerPoint’s sophisticated new features, you can save an entire presentation as a Web page. The Web page displays a list of the slides and a set of navigation controls you can use to switch from one slide to the next.

Saving a presentation as a Web page allows you to share it with others not fortunate enough to have PowerPoint—they can view the presentation in any Web browser.

Adding a Hyperlink

A hyperlink is specially marked text or a graphic that you click to go to a file or an HTML page on the Web or on an intranet. Add a hyperlink if your presentation will be viewed on screen or in a browser.

Procedure 28.1. To add a hyperlink:

  1. Select text to which you want to add a hyperlink (Figure 28.1).
