System.Net Namespace
The System.Net namespace provides a simple API that allows use of many of the protocols used on the network today. It is implemented primarily in System.dll. However, the IrDA (Infrared) classes are in a separate assembly, System.Net.IrDA.dll. Table A-16 lists the classes of this namespace.
