Plug-Ins

Plug-Ins in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 are what used to be referred to as Callouts in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. A Plug-In is a .NET assembly that can be used to intercept events generated from the CRM system to perform a variety of actions.
