ASP.NET Web Application Deployment
After you have built your custom web application and tested it, you are ready to deploy it. You must create the application virtual directory in IIS. Notice that, with this example, you use the same web server as the CRM website. To deploy the web application, follow these steps:
1. Open the IIS Manager by going to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
2. Expand the server name (in this example, CRMWOIFD) and select the Application Pools folder. You will create a new application pool for the application to isolate it and not affect the CRM website application pool. Right-click the Application Pools folder and select Add Application Pool (see Figure 26.6
