Ribbons in Outlook

As stated previously in this chapter, the usage of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 in Microsoft Outlook has not changed substantially. Figure 5.15 shows the Outlook interface, with its familiar look and feel.

Note that when working with a record that you’ve opened from Outlook, as shown in Figure 5.16, there is no ability to “go up” to the main application (you can always navigate to related records by drilling down) because the chevron (and functionality) is missing from the top Ribbon bar.
