Outlook and Exchange Sync (Server-Side Synchronization)
New to Dynamics CRM 2013 is the option for server-side synchronization. This option allows for email integration without requiring CRM for Outlook or the CRM Email Router (as in earlier versions). Figure 2.18 shows the settings for email configuration for server-side synchronization.

Server-side synchronization is supported only for On-Premise with Exchange On-Premise.
