Chapter 11. Reporting

Now that Chapter 10 has discussed software inventory and metering in Configuration Manager, we can move on to look at its Reporting component.

In Configuration Manager 2007, the Reporting feature is much like the version found in Systems Management Server 2003. Microsoft has added some new reports, but the basic functionality is the same.

Reporting is probably the feature of Configuration Manager 2007 most widely used outside of Information Technology departments.
