Chapter Four. Self-Mastery

I was recently interviewed by a magazine journalist who wanted a story about outdoor training. Her pleasant manner and confident style projected a high level of professionalism. She was also extremely ambitious. We had a very enjoyable lunch together and after the interview she confided in me that her career potential was not being realized because she couldn’t bring herself to call top editors with her scoops. Why should an ambitious, confident, capable, intelligent woman procrastinate over something as simple as this????
